I'm a freelance graphic and web designer, passionate about good design. Take a look at some of the work I've done, and then let's talk about what I can do for your business!
Isabella
Client: Isabella Style, LLC
Role: Development of an e-commerce website for this boutique in Charlotte, NC. Built on a WordPress platform, I developed the interaction laid out by Rachel Martin, of Rachel Martin Design. The fully-managed online store includes using a UPS link with real-time rates for shipping, ability for the staff of the boutique to manage each item, and alerts them to their inventory levels.
Command Partners
Client: MCG Studio
Info: Responsible for developing a site designed by MCG Studio, this site was done in HTML5, with some CSS3 goodies thrown in, and is managed entirely through WordPress.
When viewed in a Webkit-based browser (Safari and Chrome), you get to see the gauges at the top in action, handled through gracefully degrading CSS animation. The buttons also contain some rollover effects handled through browser-specific CSS, so the more modern browsers get a nice effect.
Role: Website Development
Paul Simon Company
Client: Paul Simon Co
Info: In collaboration with MCG Studio, I developed the design for the new site. Again, using an extensively customized installation of WordPress to manage the content, I was able to provide maximum flexibility to the client for keeping their site up to date.
The site needed to be usable and accessible, according to Section 508 of the ADA standards, and it passed with flying colors.
WordPress functionalities allow for the most use out of each page and post, and Custom Post Types are used for things like featured promotions, testimonials, and slideshows throughout the site.
Role: Website Development
Ritz Marketing
Client: MCG Studio
Info: Development of a site designed by MCG Studio for Ritz Marketing, a local media and marketing company here in Charlotte, NC.
Some custom functionality was built in, and the blog is a WordPress-based blog, separate from the rest of the site. One of the features was the ability to have a different background image for each page.
Role: Website Development
DDS Training
Client: MCG Studio
Info: Developed a site designed by MCG Studio for DDS Training. A fully-custom WordPress theme, it was a template designed to be flexible for multiple domains run by the client.
Extensive customization using WordPress Menus (new to version 3.0), as well as a lot of custom PHP developed by yours truly, made this site a usable, SEO-friendly, flexible site, able to be managed entirely by the client.
Role: Website Development
Blue Feather Media
Client: Rachel Martin Design
Info: Developed a custom site, designed by Rachel Martin Design for Blue Feather Media. The client was familiar with WordPress for blogging, so we decided it would be a natural fit as a content management system for the whole site.
Every bit of the site is updatable by the client, including portfolio images in the gallery, and the blog which was incorporated from the existing blog.
Extensive use of WordPress Custom Post Types makes the backend really simple for the client to manage the content and keep all the information up to date.
